Executive Director Schneider Attends OASIS Conference Tom Schneider, the FLISA Executive Director, was asked to speak at the Oklahoma Association Serving Impact Schools in November.

The FLISA Membership committee is preparing to publish their "Reasons to Join FLISA" document that they have been working to complete during the last Summer and Winter Meeting. Committee Chairperson Bob Reichert is putting the finishing touches on the document which will, hopefully, be published at the Winter, 2024 meeting. This is some of the important work that takes place during our FLISA meetings. Just another reason FLISA meetings are vital to advancing the cause of Impact Aid.

FLISA's past-president, Craig Hutcheson, superintendent of Kittatinny Regional School District, is the secretary of the NAFIS board of directors. As board secretary, Hutcheson will work with other board members from across the country and other NAFIS Sub-groups to guide the association’s public policy priorities.  Hutcheson has served on the NAFIS board for four years and has participated in every NAFIS conference since he was appointed superintendent at Kittatinny in 2007. Craig was the President of FLISA in 2021.

Tom Schneider, Executive Director of FLISA was invited by our the NIISA Executive Director to attend that organization's conference in December.  This informative conference provides inside into the many positive outcomes of impact aid dollars in our partner Native American schools.
